Would you like to be my friend?

mood: insanely happy (:
day: thursday, july twenty - first, twenty - oh - eleven
countdowns: two days until the cottage, thirteen days until england

Dumbledoooree, you didn't text me back!
Oh gosh, days like these are why I truly remember why I love Karys and why she's my bestfriend. She honestly makes my day when we hang out, as she doesn't judge me. When we're together, it's like someone flicks a switch in my brain and I just can't stop talking or laughing. It doesn't help that we have so much in common, even though we're different as can be half of the time. It didn't help that she got me through my babysitting job (mentioned below) by texting me the whole time in hashtags. #kindalikethis

After a rather rough time at the gym, I had a babysitting job with some regulars I've had since the beginning of summer. This is my fourth time babysitting with them for three hours at a time. They're two boys, ages three and five, who have as much energy as... no, there's nothing to compare it to. They. Are. Nuts. But today, they were pretty manageable. The eldest is really interested in all things about age. He asked me five times how old I was and would be in soandso years. It's all very interesting. The worst thing though was...

THE HEAT! It's really weird that we've had the coldest winter and the hottest summer all in one year. It was thirty seven degrees, today. Thirty seven degrees. And that wasn't even with the humidity! With the humidity it was supposed to be forty five degrees! When you walked out of a building, it was like a wall of heat hit you. It's insane. No one would believe this was Canada!

Then Karys and I met at the mall to go shopping. My goal was to find comfortable tank tops and such that I could just throw on! Goal= far from met. I didn't even get a tank top. Ah, well. I am happy with my purchases. It started with Chinese Food for dinner. I don't know about anyone here, but whenever I shop I crave ManchuWok. Yum. Then we shopped. Then a baby Cinabon and some Lemonade. I ended up getting a really loose white blouse from Dynamite, two pairs of feather earrings from Aldo Accessories and a 10$ black shirt from AE. She got a pair of earrings herself and two tank tops. Woohoo! Thennnn... (He comes the dreaded ellipsis'.) we went back to her house. We laughed until we cried! Well, first we wallowed in disgust at a poor decision one of our mutual friends made regarding her... ah, virginity. Then we had much more fun, re-reading our old fanfiction and making fun of it. Gosh, some parts were hilarious and some were bad. Then we actually laughed our asses off over A Very Potter Sequel and re-enacting Umbridge. Oh gosh.

"You're impossible!" "No, I'm impeccable. Completely different."

Now everyone, please have fun in hogsmeade.

Feeling Good

mood: my mouth hurts
day: wednesday, july twentieth, two oh eleven
countdowns: three days to the cottage, fourteen days to england

You know what makes me supremely happy? A number of things. But I've recently discovered something that just puts me in a good mood. It's called... going to the gym. That may sound weird, but just the proud feeling I get afterwards is awesome. Plus, today I discovered this mutated version of an elliptical. I thought I'd be able to do ten minutes on it (don't judge, I'm a wimp), but because the workout is automatically set to thirty, I ended up going for twenty two! That's 270 calories!! + 103 from the treadmill +80 something from the elliptical +20-30 from the machines. I'm just so determined to dress and be healthier now! Though, that'll last until the ice cream truck goes by...

Re-watching the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars, as it is daylight now, so I may actually be able to not fast forward the end. I'm more looking into the fashion the second time I see it. Curly hair seems to be in, which I am all for! Now, I just need to find a way to make it more natural. Well, seeing as I deep conditioned, used my strengthening product and spritzed with a nourishing anti frizz spray, we'll see how it goes. Extensions are looking quite promising, though. Yummy, yummy extensions. But by then, I'd have to figure out how to do the loose curls look without heat. Hmm... I'm guessing google should do the trick, but sending a quick question to some magazines should do good, as well.

Mystery Book Of Charlotte's is a nickname for my latest project. It was made due to my best friend Hellie's insatiable curiousity. I've shortened it to MBOC, for now. I do have a working title - that I'm not totally in love with - but MBOC is what it is being called for now. It's gotten farther than most of my other projects, which is promising, but we'll see. My latest step in plotting? The Closet Wall. In other words, I wrote down all the scenes I'd imagined or ever mentioned on cue cards. Then, I taped them onto the wall in my closet in order of what was happening. It was kind of handy as I was able to finally look at it all as a whole and see where the holes in the plot were. I do have some work to do, but being able to re-arrange it and add/subtract things really helped. Why the closet wall? You may ask. Well, I don't really want my parents seeing my plot. And also, it's the biggest space available at the moment. Looks weird to those who don't know, yes! But really, if people are looking into my closet, they should at least know me enough to know that weird is how I roll.

Now, I must return to chores and my google searches. Ta-ta!

Absolutely sincerely,
Charlotte

Hello!

mood: neutral
day: tuesday, july nineteenth, two oh eleven
countdowns: four days until the cottage, fifteen days until england

Well, hello there! Look at you, all new and spiffy. Why, I'd say that you were just recently started! I'm right, am I? Well, look at that!

In other words, if you are reading this, you must be insanely bored with your life and on the verge of falling asleep already. I wouldn't blame you. So far, this post has been awfully dull. It might actually seem exciting though, compared to what's bound to come. This blog is soon to be full of my rants, raves and writings. (Almost got the three r thing, didn't I?) which I'm sure you don't care about. If you do however, I applaud you.
Absolutely sincerely,
Charlotte
